Russia - Imperial Russia: Membership Jetton for the Society of the Azure Cross for Assistance to Firefighters, otherwise known as the Blue Cross Society, silver and enamel with an applied gold fireman’s helmet, reverse bears the Kokoshnik assayer's silver hallmark ’84’ and ’ЯЛ’ for Saint Petersburg and makers initials ‘ES’, for E.W. Schramm, a silversmith with the Carl Faberge workshop in Saint Petersburg. The reverse of the jetton is additionally engraved: ’12/VII/1901’ for the date 12th July 1901, and the cyrillic letters in cursive script for the recipient: ‘Ф. Н. Tоонe’ for ‘F.N. TOONE’ and then the location name ‘NARVA’ for Narva, what is now the third largest city in Estonia.
