Sydney P. Revell saw service as a Private (No. L/13693) with the 17th Lancers and later with the Corps of Lancers on the Western Front. He was declared missing on 27th September 1918, and was confirmed a Prisoner of War on 7th October 1918 having been captured at Le Quesnil, and was held at Dulmen Prison Camp before being confirmed as arriving back in the UK on 13th January 1919. Revell was from Liverpool
