William Alfred Perry was born in Bedminster, Gloucestershire and enlisted in Bristol subsequently seeing service with the Machine Gun Corps on the Western Front where he would die of wounds on 21st April 1918 whilst serving with 151st Company, Machine Gun Corps, now being buried in Boulogne Eastern Cemetery.
