Alfred Davey saw service as a Private (No. T/4429, later No. T/202021) with The Queen’s Regiment and was killed in action whilst serving with the 2nd/4th Battalion, The Queen’s Regiment on 23rd July 1918 being buried in Raperie British Cemetery, Villemontoire. He is noted as the son of Alfred and Norah Davey of Richmond, Surrey.
