Alexander S. Weedon saw service as a Private (No. 14637) with the 7th Battalion, Suffolk Regiment on the Western Front from 25th July 1915 and died of wounds on 9th April 1917 and is now buried in Duisans British Cemetery, Etrun. He is noted as the son of Mr. S.C. Weeden, of Hildersham, Cambridgeshire.
