Ernest Alfred Edwards saw service as a Corporal – Acting Serjeant (No. 54039) with the Royal Engineers on the Western Front from 16th August 1915, later being commissioned as a Lieutenant on 31st August 1916.
His medals were sent to Stanley House, Westcombe Park Road, Blackhall, London.
