Waziristan 1894-1895, Punjab Frontier, Tirah and Samana 1897-1898, and Waziristan 1901-1902 pair awarded to Sepoy Kala Khan, 2nd Punjab Infantry, Indian Army, who saw extensive service on the frontier, being present during the operations in Waziristan which lasted from 22nd October 1894 to 13th March 1895, before going on to see service during the operations on the Punjab Frontier in 1897 to 1898, including the operations on the Samana Ridge and with the Tirah Field Force during 1897, and then later on the frontier during the Mahsud operations in Waziristan which lasted from 23rd November 1901 to 10th March 1902.

Kala Khan saw service as a Sepoy with the 2nd Punjab Infantry, Indian Army, and was present during the operations in Waziristan which lasted from 22nd October 1894 to 13th March 1895, before going on to see service during the operations on the Punjab Frontier in 1897 to 1898, including the operations on the Samana Ridge and with the Tirah Field Force during 1897, and then later on the frontier during the Mahsud operations in Waziristan which lasted from 23rd November 1901 to 10th March 1902.
