George A. Simms saw service as a Private (No. 5920) with the King’s Royal Rifle Corps and later as a Private (No. 402902) with the Labour Corps on the Western Front from 23rd July 1915. He was discharged to Class ‘Z’ Reserve on 24th February 1919.
