Benjamin Hasteley saw service as a Private (No. 52336) with the Worcestershire Regiment and later as a Private (No. 51887) with the Cheshire Regiment. He was reported wounded in the War Office Weekly Casualty List of 25th June 1918 and is stated to have been from Coleshill.
