Albert H. Hunter, a boot repairer from Holloway, London saw service as a Private (No. L/14630) with the 4th Battalion, Middlesex Regiment on the Western Front on 14th August 1914 and would be killed in action at Kemmel, near Ypres on 28th December 1914. Having no known grave he is now remembered on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial.
