Parker was born in Wallingford, Buckinghamshire and enlisted in Norwich before he saw service as a Private (No. 45373) with the 13th Battalion, King’s Royal Rifle Corps on the Western Front during the Great War and died of wounds on 14th October 1918 and is buried in St. Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen. The son of George James and Edith Margaret Parker of 1 Hotblack Road, Norwich.
