Sportsman Battalion Royal Fusiliers Tribute Medal, Silver, hallmarked, as issued to the volunteers in January 1915 by Sir Cunliffe-Owen and bearing the engraved service number ‘3322’ this being that of Private E. Young, Royal Fusiliers.

Private E. Young, Royal Fusiliers who enlisted on 18th March 1915 and saw service as a Private (No. SPTS-3322), with the Royal Fusiliers before being discharged due to sickness on 11th May 1916. Being one of the early volunteers and as such was issued the Sportman’s Battalion Tribute Medal. Additionally entitled to a Silver War Badge.
