Robert J. Bartlett saw service as a Private later Lance Corporal (No. 1906, later No. 265652) with the 1st/9th Battalion, Middlesex Regiment and died in India 26th April 1918. He is now buried in Calcutta (Bhowanipore) Cemetery, Kolkata.
