Joseph Weeks (not Wicks as per the medal) was born in Blagdon, Bristol, attested at Blagdon, Bristol, Somerset attested on 7th March 1860 and saw 21 years and 32 days service at home until his discharge at London on 7th March 1881 upon the completion of his 2nd term of engagement. This is the recipients sole medal entitlement.
