Second World War Taylor family group believed to be for two brothers from Birmingham, one a Leading Aircraftman W.T. Taylor, Auxiliary Air Force, saw service in North West Europe and was awarded the Air Efficiency Award in January 1950, the other a W.F. Taylor, saw service in the Royal Signals and was present at Dunkirk.

Leading Aircraftman (No.849908) W.T. Taylor, Auxiliary Air Force, came from Birmingham and saw service during the Second World War in North West Europe and went on to be awarded the Air Efficiency Award on 8th January 1950.
Group of 4: 1939-1945 Star; Defence Medal; War Medal; Dunkirk Veteran’s Medal 1960. First three with Royal Signals Records card box of issue, addressed to: ‘Mr. W.F. Taylor, 44 Langstone Rd, Birmingham 14’, last with card box of issue.

Mr W.F. Taylor, also came from Birmingham and resided at the same address, he is believed to have been the brother of the above, and saw service in the Royal Signals during the Second World War and was present during the fall of France and the evacuation via Dunkirk in 1940
