Hargreaves, 3rd King’s Own Hussars, later of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers and of the Royal Armoured Corps who saw service in North Africa, Italy and Burma during the Second World War before later seeing service during the Jewish Revolt in Palestine.

Ted Hargreaves initially saw service with the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, and during the Second World War would transfer to the Royal Armoured Corps on 2nd December 1941 with whom he would serve in during the operations in North Africa, and in both Italy and Burma. He would later be present during the Jewish Revolt in Palestine where he served as a Trooper (No. 4206516) with the 3rd King’s Own Hussars.
