As worn by Wilfred Alan Beadell, who originally enlisted into the Royal Artillery (No.1592847) and saw service during the Second World War, during which period he transferred to the Royal Army Service Corps on 30th March 1944 being transferred to the Territorial Army Reserve on 1st April 1946, and fully discharged on 19th September 1951
