Second World War Burma Officer’s Mention in Despatches and later casualty group to Captain K.W. Williams, 2nd Battalion, North Staffordshire Regiment attached 3/3rd Gurkha Rifles who was Mentioned in Despatches on 19th July 1946 for his service in Burma. He would later die on 13th September 1946 and is now buried in Kirkee War Cemetery.

Kenneth William Williams saw Second World War service in Burma and was Mentioned in Despatches for services in Burma in the London Gazette of 19th July 1946 whilst serving as a Temporary Captain with the North Staffordshire Regiment. He would later die on 13th September 1946 whilst serving with 2nd Battalion, North Staffordshire Regiment and attached to 3/3rd Gurkha Rifles. Having no known grave he is now buried in Kirkee War Cemetery.
