Second World War Battle of the Atlantic Royal Navy Long Service and Good Conduct Medal group awarded to Able Seaman H.M.S. Victory who saw service during the Battle of the Atlantic and would later be awarded the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal whilst serving aboard HMS Victory on 16th March 1943.

Stanley Henry John Robins was born in Marlborough, Wiltshire on 28th January 1910 and giving his occupation as an Errand Boy joined the Royal navy for 12 years service on 28th August 1926 initially serving as a Boy 2nd Class with Ganges until on 1st June 1927 he transferred to St. Vincent being advanced to Boy 1st Class on 26th June 1927. He would then serve aboard Iron Duke from 17th August 1927 until 14th May 1928 being advanced to Ordinary Seaman on 28th January 1928, then Tiger from 18th May to 30th May 1928 and Barham from 31st May 1928 when his service records stops. He would be awarded his Royal Navy Long Service and Good Conduct Medal whilst serving aboard HMS Victory on 16th March 1943.
