Second World War and post-war Palestine Jewish Revolt pair awarded to Gunner J.J. Flynn, Royal Artillery, who would appear to have been a member of both The Parachute Regimental Association and the 44/2nd Indian Airborne Division Old Comrades Association.
War Medal 1939-1945; General Service Medal 1918-1962, GVI 1st type bust, 1 Clasp: Palestine 1945-48; (14923650 GNR J J FLYNN RA), both awards are late claims, and came together in a Army Medal Office card box of issue addressed to: ‘Mr. J. Flynn, 11, Tivoli Road, Hounslow, Middx. TW4 6AD.’
Condition: Nearly Extremely Fine.
Together with three wire-bullion blazer badges, one for The Parachute Regimental Association, one for the Royal Artillery; and one for the 44/2nd Indian Airborne Division Old Comrades Association.
