Baltic Medal 1854-1855, unnamed as issued; Crimea Medal 1854-1856, 1 Clasp: Sebastopol, unnamed as issued to the Royal Navy / Royal Marines. Both medals fitted with silver top brooch bars, the first bearing a superb example with details for Bailey of Coventry on the reverse. An attractive pair.


Condition: Good Very Fine or better.


Awarded for the operations in the Baltic during the Russian War of 1854 to 1855. Authorised on 23rd April 1856, the medal was granted to officers and men of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines for operations against Russia in the Baltic.
