As awarded between 1942 and 1945, this being an original wartime manufactured example, therefore scarce. A superb looking badge.

This highly prestigious labour award was established on 5 May 1942, and was actively awarded to exemplary factory workers, engineers, and personnel until October 1945. The People’s Commissariat of Tank Industry of the USSR was a dedicated department which oversaw all Soviet tank manufacturing, design, and assembly plants during the Second World War.
