Russia - Soviet: Medal for Bravery, 1st Type, 3rd Variation with award serial number stamped: ‘62043’, with first type early suspension having been replaced, it having been reconverted for display purposes from a five sided suspension, and has an incorrect large format screw-plate. This serial number is indicative of an award made mid-1942.

Established on 17th October 1938. Also known as the Medal for Courage , Medal for Valour and Medal for Gallantry .
