The People’s Commissariat of the Rubber Industry was a short-lived organisation that existed between 1941-48 alongside the People’s Commissariat of the Chemical Industry. They were reorganised into Ministries in 1945, at the time the Council of People’s Commissars was converted into the Council of Ministers.
