Awarded to Royal Navy Patrol Service personnel after six months sea service and was worn by all ranks, exclusive to RNPS only and not to be worn by Royal Navy personnel.
Featuring a shield with a sinking shark speared by a marline spike, set against a fishing net background with two trapped enemy mines. Flanked with nautical knots and topped with a naval crown. RD number on the reverse reads 837751 and very small initials GK (designed by Kruger Gray). 2.2mm x 2.9mm
