Royal Air Force “Battle of Britain” period Mk. IIIA goggles, stores reference 22C/62, the leather strap marked Air Ministry King’s crown, reference markings and 1937 date code. All of the frame screws are original and both frame 'stops’ are in place. The leather surrounds are sound but the internal padding has hardened. The nosepiece is supple and the original lenses have minor surface scuffs/scratches. All of the strap springs are in good order and the covering clean. The leather strap section remains strong.
Condition. Light service wear, an excellent pair of these desirable goggles.
