Regular Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, GVI 1st type bust, awarded to Bombardier C.L. Templeton, Royal Artillery, later Royal Army Ordnance Corps, who was born in Preston, Ontario, Canada and originally enlisted in January 1923. Templeton was awarded the Regular Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal prior to his transfer into the Royal Army Ordnance Corps on 15th January 1942, when on active service during the Second World War.

Clifford Leslie Templeton was born in Preston, Ontario, Canada, and having enlisted into the British Army on 2nd January 1923, then saw service as a Gunner (No.1055012) with the Royal Garrison Artillery. Templeton was awarded the Regular Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal prior to his transfer into the Royal Army Ordnance Corps on 15th January 1942, when on active service during the Second World War.
