Palestine Arab Revolt and later Tobruk casualty group awarded to Private V. Rampling, 2nd Battalion, Leicestershire Regiment who saw service during the Arab Revolt in Palestine and later in the North African Campaign where he would be killed in action during the fighting at Tobruk on 25th November 1941, he is buried in Tobruk War Cemetery.
