Palestine Arab Rebellion and Second World War Abyssinia and Italian Campaign group awarded to Private A.R. Parsons, Essex Regiment, who saw service with the 1st Battalion in Palestine during the Arab Revolt, and claimed his medal in February 1940 whilst on service in Egypt. Parsons would have then seen service during the campaign in Abyssinia and East Africa against the Italians but does not appear to have accompanied his battalion to Burma, and instead appears to have seen service in Italy.
