Nottinghamshire Yeomanry Volunteer’s Medal 1802, 36mm, silver, obverse featuring a George III facing right, ‘MDCCCII’ below, the reverse featuring the Green Dale Oak tree in full flower, ‘Foi Loi Roi’ inscribed on trunk, ‘Notts. Yeomanry’ above, edge plain, with small ring suspension.
Condition: Extremely Fine
On 13 May 1802 the Nottinghamshire Yeomanry was disbanded, on which occasion Lord Newark presented a gold medal to each officer and a silver medal to other ranks.
