Royal Marines Certificate of Discharge
John Rickard born in Portsmouth in 1928 enlisted into the Royal Marines at Southsea on 1st October 1945, and would go on to see service during the Jewish Revolt in Palestine. Receiving a hurt certificate on 7th December 1949, he would be discharged at Chatham on 16th January 1952 with his character noted as Very Good.
