Beckett, 16th (Queen’s Westminster Rifles) Battalion, London Regiment, late of the 12th (Service) Battalion, King’s Royal Rifle Corps who saw service on the Western Front from 23rd July 1915 and would go on to be awarded the Military Medal in the London Gazette of 11th February 1919 which largely covers actions during the early stages of the Battle of Amiens which began on 8th August 1918.
