Mesopotamia British War Medal 1914-1919 awarded to Private G. Dadswell, 1st/5th Battalion, East Kent Regiment who saw service in Mesopotamia from 9th December 1915 and was killed in action on 21st January 1916. He is now buried in Amara War Cemetery.

George Dadswell, noted as T Dadswell by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission saw service as a Private (No. 923) with the 1st/5th Battalion, East Kent Regiment in Mesopotamia from 9th December 1915 and was killed in action on 21st January 1916 now being buried in Amara War Cemetery. He is noted as the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. Dadswell of Little Harts Heath, Staplehurst
