Italy - two old silk flags for Italy, both bearing the shield and cross of the House of Savoy over the Italian tricolore, so post 1861, but prior to 1946 and the formation of the Italian Republic. These are believed to have been propaganda flags and may well have been used at the time of the Great War. One measures approximately 30 x 28 cm’s, the other is slightly larger and measures approximately 40 x 40 cm’s.
Condition: some stress-ing from age, including very light fraying to material, overall Fair Condition.
