Italy - Fascist Period: Italian Fascist Propaganda Medal, bronze, this the version with the Neghelli Address of 1936 on the reverse. The obverse with the bust of Benito Mussolini wearing a military helmet, and the embossed official slogan of the Italian National Fascist Party “Crudere Obbedire Combattere” (Believe, Obey, Fight). The obverse is signed by the sculptor Carlo Rivalta, and the reverse indicates it was minted by M. Nelli Inc. of Florence (Firenze). No ribbon.

This propaganda medal has three different reverses, this being the Neghelli Address Variant from 1936, being embossed with the text of Mussolini’s victorious celebratory telegram sent to Marshal Rodolfo Graziani after the capture of Negele Borana (Neghelli) in East Africa.
