Indian Mutiny Medal 1857-1858, 2 Clasps: Lucknow, Relief of Lucknow, awarded to Private Frederick Barleycorn, 1st Battalion, 23rd Regiment of Foot – the Royal Welch Fusiliers, who saw service out in India during the Indian Mutiny, being present with Sir Colin Campbell’s force at the relief of Lucknow in November 1857, he then took part in the operations at Lucknow which lasted through to March 1858.

Frederick Barleycorn served as a Private (No.5784) with the 1st Battalion, 23rd Regiment of Foot – the Royal Welch Fusiliers, and saw service out in India during the Indian Mutiny, being present with Sir Colin Campbell’s force at the relief of Lucknow in November 1857, he then took part in the operations at Lucknow which lasted through to March 1858.
