Davison, 1st Battalion, East Kent Regiment who saw service in India as part of the Chitral Relief Force in 1895 and later in South Africa during the Boer War where he would take part in the operations in Cape Colony.

Frederick Edward Davison saw service as a Corporal and later Private (No. 2668) with the 1st Battalion, East Kent Regiment – the Buffs. Initially serving at home from 10th November 1888 until 15th October 1890 when he would travel to India , he would remain in India until 8th December 1896 and would serve as part of the Chitral Relief Force in 1895.
Returning home on 9th December 1896 he would remain there until he travelled to South Africa on 21st December 1899 where he would take part in the Boer War being present in the operations in Cape Colony. He would return home on 12th November 1901 and would be discharged that day.
