Brumhill, 1st Battalion, East Kent Regiment - the Buffs, who was present during the operations on the Punjab Frontier which lasted from 10th June 1897 to 6th April 1898, and later saw service during the Great War as a Sergeant with the 14th Service Battalion, Hampshire Regiment, and later as a Sergeant with the 1st/4th Battalion, South Lancashire Regiment.

Lionel Everard George D’Ingelo Brumhill was born circa 1878, and came from Medway, Kent, and saw service initially as a Private (No.4592) with the 1st Battalion, East Kent Regiment - the Buffs, who was present during the operations on the Punjab Frontier which lasted from 10th June 1897 to 6th April 1898. He was living in Dover, Kent, when he married in October 1904, and later saw service during the Great War as a Sergeant (No.5029) with the 14th Service Battalion, Hampshire Regiment, and later as a Sergeant (No.49870) with the 1st/4th Battalion, South Lancashire Regiment. Brumhill died in Portsmouth, Hampshire in April 1966.
