India North West Frontier 1937 to 1939 and Regular Army long service group awarded to Sergeant W. Hall, 2nd Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment - the Green Towards, who saw service out on the North West Frontier in Waziristan during the operations against the Fakir of Ipi in the period from 15th/16th December 1937 through to 1st January 1940. Hall would have gone on to see service during the Second World War, where the battalion which was on service in India, then saw service in Burma as part of the 26th Indian Infantry Division and also the 82nd West Africa Division.
