India North West Frontier 1930-1931 Red Shirt Rebellion and Second World War North Africa 1st Army group awarded to Private E. Goode, 2nd Battalion, Essex Regiment, who saw service during the Red Shirt Rebellion on the North West Frontier of India in the period from 23rd April 1930 to 22nd March 1931. By the time of the issue of his medal in June 1934, Goode had transferred to the Army Reserve. He however then went on to see service during the Second World War in North Africa during the campaign in Tunisia with the 1st Army.
