Awarded to Private (No.3594117) E. Fielding, Border Regiment, who was present with the 2nd Battalion out on the North West Frontier of India during the Red Shirt Rebellion in the period from 23rd April 1930 to 22nd March 1931. Fielding had transferred to the Army Reserve by the time of the issue of his medal in November 1933, but probably saw service during the Second World War.
