James Miles Brown saw service as a Private (No. 2932) with the 2nd London Sanitary Section, Royal Army Medical Corps on the Western Front from 9th November 1915 and was killed in action on 10th February 1916 aged 30 now being buried in Suzanne Communal Cemetery Extension. He is noted as the son of William and Angela Brown of Station Road West, Oxted, Surrey.
