Adam Foster Dodd enlisted on 19th January 1915 and saw service as a Private (No. 4-2494, later No. 200758) with the Northumberland Fusiliers on the Western Front from 20th April 1915, he would later be wounded in August 1915 and subsequently discharged in 1918. The back of Dodd’s Medal Index Card notes him as ‘Dead’.
