Ernest Quinn saw service as Lance Corporal, later Serjeant (No. 1458, later No 330017) with the Yorkshire Hussars, being present on the Western Front from 18th April 1915. He would later serve with the Royal Engineers (No. 481800) and would survive the war to be demobilised on 16th July 1919.
