Great War Western Front 1914-1915 Star trio and Imperial Service Medal awarded to Sapper F. Brough, Royal Engineers who saw service on the Western Front from 6th September 1915, and would survive the war to be discharged to Class Z Reserve on 24th March 1919. He would later be awarded an Imperial Service Medal in the London Gazette of 14th December 1945 for his work as a Sorting Clerk and Telegraphist in Leeds.

Frank Brough was born in Pickering, Yorkshire and worked as a telegraphist before he saw service as a Sapper (No. 56352) with the Royal Engineers during the Great War, being present in France from 6th September 1915. He would later be discharged to Class Z Reserve on 24th March 1919. He would go on to be awarded an Imperial Service Medal in the London Gazette of 14th December 1945 for his working as a Sorting Clerk and Telegraphist in Leeds. He died in 1983 in Claro, Yorkshire aged 98!
