Stanley Mills saw service as a Private (No. 14735) with the Suffolk Regiment on the Western Front from 25th July 1915, later serving with the Essex Regiment (No. 25723) and the Northumberland Fusiliers (No. 26880) before finally being discharged to Class Z Reserve.
