Great War pair, Second World War Home Service and Imperial Service Medal group awarded to Private F.H.C. Lane, Essex Regiment, later West Riding Regiment who having served during the Great War would later see home service during the Second World War before being awarded the Imperial Service Medal in the London Gazette of 19th July 1949 for his work as Assistant Inspector, Post Office, Bromley and Beckenham.

Frank Henry Charles Lane saw service as a Private (No. 55773) with the Essex Regiment and later as a Private (No. 43457) with the West Riding Regiment, before later seeing home service during the Second World War.
He would be awarded the Imperial Service Medal in the London Gazette of 19th July 1949 for his work as Assistant Inspector, Post Office, Bromley and Beckenham.
