Thomas Brough was born in Walsall and would go on to see service as a Private (No. 59372) with the Devon Regiment, and would later serve as a Private (No. 104484) with the Labour Corps and with the Worcestershire Regiment (No. 69010). He died aged 92 in Birmingham in December 1974.
