Robert Richardson saw service as a Private (No. 1615) with the Northumberland Yeomanry, and later as a Private (No. 270739) with the Corps of Hussars. He was at one time wounded during his service his name given on a list of those within the Regiment who suffered that fate. Discharged to Class ‘Z’ Reserve from the Northumberland Hussars on 7th February 1919.
