George Bernard H. Brough from Sheffield saw service as a Private (No. 205269) with the 8th Battalion, West Yorkshire Regiment and later as a Private (No. 235331) with the Lincolnshire Regiment.
Surviving the war at the time of the 1939 census he would be employed as a Pitman in Electric Furnace – Heavy Worker and would be living at 11 Trafalgar Road, West Bridge in the district of Sheffield. He died in June 1974 in Sheffield.
